Why study Psychology?
Psychology not only helps us understand why other people do the things they do,but it also helps us better understand ourselves and our reactions to other people.Psychology can help you understand how your brain and body are connected,how to improve your learning abilities and memory,and how to deal with stresses of life,both ordinary and extra-ordinary.
What is Psychology?
Some people believe that psychology is just the study of people and what makes them tick.Psychologist do study people,but they study animals to.What makes people and animals "tick" is what goes on inside their bodies and brains as well as what they do.
Psychology in the scientific study of behavior and mental processes.Behavior includes all of our outward or overt actions and reactions,such as talking,facial expression,and movement.
The main things that are important in this course are....once we are considered as a psychologist,we need to evaluate all these.......such as What is happening?Why is it happening?When will it happen again?How can it be changed?.........There are lots theories that we have to know and remember in Psychology!!!!such as Erick erickson,Freud,Watson and others........
Critical thinking is 1 of the important things that we will learn and it will be a very GOOD knowledge to be applied in our daily life.........So this is what basically Psychology are all about.Ya im sure that there are friends who still want to know why i choose taking Psychology?as all of you know Nad want to be a Good Malay teacher!!!!Theres a reason for this....so i will tell you all some other time coz i need to do a quick revision before i go to sleep....and im sleeping on this "uncomfortable" chair tonight!!!!!!hahaha NUH??ya rite...
